I was so excited to find this after realizing buying sod for my small patch of lawn would be way out of our budget - so much cheaper! Followed all the instructions to the tee. Roto-tilled, watered diligently, and several weeks later it's just a patch of the green papery substrate that's disintegrating. Not a single thing has grown except a couple unrelated weeds. Birds feasted on some of the seed after it was rolled out, but of what remained, none of the seed germinated. I am suspicious that I may have received an "old" roll that sat in a hot warehouse for too long, but super disappointed in this product. It was a complete waste of money for me, and of course I can't return it, since it's now shredded in my backyard. At least the birds were happy?

I've had a terrible time getting grass to grow in a few areas of my yard. I've tried seed and that combo mulch/seed stuff in a shaker bottle. Nothing worked. So I bought this product, skeptical, but hoping it might work. I was shocked at how fast it's growing! The first picture is just 10 days after putting it down. There is no way regular seed would grow that fast! The second picture is at 2 weeks, and the last picture is about 6 weeks. WOW! I only bought two rolls to test out, but I'm going to buy a few more rolls to fix a few more areas during the fall season so next year I'll hopefully have a great lawn finally.
